A New Approach to Overseas Conflict- Pragmatism Over Intervention

For decades, the UK has thrown itself into foreign conflicts under the banner of “morality,” “stability,” or “defending democracy.” But the truth is unavoidable: military intervention has cost us billions, destabilised nations, fuelled endless wars, and left our own citizens neglected at home.

If we are to build a stronger, more secure nation, our foreign policy must change — from intervention to intelligence, from force to diplomacy, from moral posturing to practical action.
